What a busy day!

This morning we had lots of friendly helpers for our scrapbooking morning and after an hour of plenty of fun and hard work, we now have a beautiful scrapbook of the people in our class.
A big thanks to all those Mums and Dads who were able to stay and help us to put it together - and also thanks to all those who sent in photos, comments, stickers and paper to make our pages bright and colourful.
Please find some time to visit our classroom to view your child's page and those of their friends.

This week we are looking at the /j/ sound so we made jack-in-the-box and cooked jelly. We also counted jellybeans (and got to eat one too!).

We are looking forward to learning about the hard /g/ sound too over the next few days and we are especially looking forward to our Grandparents Morning on Friday.

Learning is so much fun in 1B!

Dear 1B,

I had a great time helping you with your scrapbooks and seeing all the great things you do in class.

You all looked so busy and happy doing your scrapbooks. There was such a flurry of activity. It was also lots of fun for us mums and dads finding the photos to put in your scrapbooks. It brought back lots of loVely memories of fun times!
